So many opinions about how long it takes to change ones thoughts to lean toward well being. Let's take that journey using Nature's Calendar, moving from the last days of winter and walking that path into Spring as it begins to arrive.
Well here in Southern Maryland, the groundhog may have seen his shadow and forecasted six more weeks of winter, but I am loving what is unseasonably on the horizon. Unfortunately the flowers and leaf buds may be poking their heads out a bit too soon.
Hmm, warmth of sunshine on our face is perfect for thinking about a renewal of mind, body and spirit.
Do you ever feel like Alice having tea with the Mad Hatter, after falling down the rabbit hole. "When Alice arrives at the tea party, the Hatter is characterised by switching places on the table at any given time, making short, personal remarks, asking unanswerable riddles and reciting nonsensical poetry, all of which eventually drives Alice away." - (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatter_(Alice's_Adventures_in_Wonderland)
We all have moments in life either at home, work, or out and about, when life just doesn't make sense to the point we just feel it was a crazy day. It can wear you down both mentally and physically.
How about a day, or a week when you feel like life is spinning out of control like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, when it appears her house is spinning inside a moving tornado.
When these moments traipse through our days, spiritually we can feel weighted down. We may actually walk around with our head lower, rounded shoulders and not smiling as often, Our persona perceived by others begins to resemble Eeyore in Winnie The Pooh.
